Scandent rhizomatous vining herb with pubescent stems. Leaves to 125mm x 25mm, glabrous above, pilose beneath. Umbels of 10-15 flowers, sometimes with bracts, 60mm orange-red flowers with green tips, yellow within throat, spotted purple within, isepals to 32mm long, petals to 40mm long.
