Tuberous twiner to 4m. Glabrous leaves to 80mm x 8mm. Umbels subyended by bracts to 10mm x 2mm, red flowers to 40mm diameter, tepals to 30mm long, red outside, paler red inside with orange & red stripes & dark spots.
