Twining or erect shrub, villous stems. Mucronulate leaves 20mm x 10mm glabrous or villous above, silky or densely so beneath. Solitary axillary greenish or pinkish-white flowers with bracteoles to 4mm long slightly villous outside, 5 glabrous sepals 8mm diameter, corolla 25mm x 10mm glabrous outside. Fruit a dark brown glabrous berry to 12mm x 10mm with persistent sepals.
