Woody twiner or prostrate vine, stems to 12m, branches strigose or villous. Coriaceous mucronulate leaves to 50mm x 18mm. White, pale green or yellow 20mm flowers with 3-4 bracteoles to 6mm long, sepals to 7mm long, corolla to 20mm long with 5 distinct bands. Fruit a berry 10mm in diameter.
