Climbing fern. Thick woody rhizome to 200mm long clothed with brown scales. Bipinnate sterile fronds to 300mm x 60mm, pinnae to 40mm x 6mm. Fertile fronds with pinnae to 50mm long. Sporangia brown at matyrity.
