Hemi-epiphytic liana, shrub or tree to 12m with young parts tomentose becoming glabrate. Glabrous mucronate leaves to 100mm x 50mm. Inflorescence with bracts to 14mm long, dark red & white flowers, 5-6 lobed glabrous red calyx 8mm long, white petals 9mm long. Red fruit subtended by calyx & bracts.
