Scandent shrub, liana or tree with coriaceous leaves to 300mm x 80mm, glabrous above and ferrugineous-pubescent beneath. Fascicles of 2-3 flowers, with coriaceous bracts to 9.5mm x 8mm, yellow-green calyx, sepals to 3.6mm long, 6 pink petals with lighter margins, to 17.7mm.
