Epiphytic scandent stem-rooting shrub, liana or small tree with fleshy branches. Glabrous mucronate leaves to 100mm long. Fascicles of 2-3 red, pink or violet flowers with glabrous bracts to 8mm long, petals 17mm x 9mm, calyx tube 1.7mm long, sepals 3.3mm long. Red fruit 8mm wide
