Hispid or hirsute tree or woody hemi-epiphytic vine to 8m. Leaves to 350mm x 160mm, sometimes glabrous above, pubescent beneath. Inflorescence with bracts to 22mm long, glabrous calyx with tube 15mm wide. Slightly fragrant pink or white flowers in 3-flowered inflorescences, 6 petals. Yellow-green immature fruit maturing red.
