Erect shrub or tree, hemi-epiphytic, scandent or creeping, young branches brown pubescent. Leaves to 120mm x 85mm, glabrous above, puberulent beneath. Flowers with outer bracts to 25mm long, glabrate calyx tube to 6mm wide, white or pink flowers, petals to 25mm long, red berries.
