Shrubby vine or straggling shrub to 4m. Leaves to 180mm x 90mm, glabrate above & furfuraceous beneath with small formicaria. Axillary 1-4 flowered fascicles with bracts to 16mm x 10mm, white flowers suffused lavender, calyx tube to 1/6mm with lobes 3.2mm, petals to 11mm x 8.5mm. Bright red fruit.
