Slender wiry evergreen stemmed woody climber, older branches lenticellate. Leaves to 35mm x 3mm. Solitary flowers with purple-blue sepals to 5mm long, petals green-yellow aging blue to 20mm long. Unilocular glabrous purple berries to 25mm x 10mm, rarely red, pink or white.
