Fruiting Times
Woody tendril vine to 3m with pilose branchlets. Bifoliolate leaves with a simple tendril, puberulous leaflets to 123mm x 65mm. Few-flowered terminal racemes to 15mm long with bracts of bright purple-red flowers to 42mm x 9mm, with 7mm lobes, white inside, calyx to 8mm x 4mm. Green fruits with bristly green protuberances, turning brown to 90mm x 30mm.
