Simple tendril evergreen shrubby liana. 2-foliolate leaves minutely lepidote above, sparsely lepidote beneath, coriaceous leaflets to 120mm x 60mm with long terminal tendril. Ffew-flowered terminal panicles of 90mm long pale purple to pink flowers streaked purple with yellow to white markings inside, lobes to 31mm long,calyx to 12mm x 7mm, corolla to 90mm. Brown capsule to 325mm long.
