Simple tendril woody liana, tendril to 120mm long. Bifoliolate leaves to 90mm x 65mm. Terminal racemes or panicles with few flowers of purple or lilac flowers with purple lines on white throat to 90mm long x 3mm, 15mm lobes, calyx to 7mm long. Green fruit a capsule 400mm x 16mm.
