Woody tendril vine to 10m with hairy leaves to 70mm x 35mm, simple basal leaves, bofoliolate middle leaves, leaves with tendrils. Terminal inflorescences with bracts to 3.5mm x 1mm, lilac to magenta flowers, corolla to 50mm long with 12mm lobes, toothed green calyx calyx to 2mm long.
