Scandent shrub to 9m with glabrous or pubescent stems. 3-5 parted serrate leaves, glabrous or hispid above, pubescent beneath, leaflets to 33mm wide. Panicles of flowers, hispid flower heads with 8 bracts to 7mm long, 5-6 yellow rays flowers to 15mm long. Achenes to 30mm long with bristles to 5mm long.
