Scandent herbaceous vine to 30m, tetragonal glabrous stems. Tripartite to 5-parted serrate pilose leaves to 180mm long, lreaflets to 140mm x 50mm. Inflorescence to 60mm wide, pilose flower heads with 8-9 hispid bracts to 15mm long, 5-7 yellow ray flowers to 30mm long. Achenes to 13mm long with bristles to 7mm long.
