Subshrub, tree, or climber to 3m, strigose stems becoming glabrate. Leaves to 190mm x 55mm, glabrous to sparsely strigose above, strigillose beneath. Axillary cymes, white to bluish calyx lobes 6mm x 5mm, orange corolla to 7mm wide with lobes to 4mm x 4mm. White to red or purplish glabrous berry to 11mm x 10mm.
