Puberulous climbing shrub, reddish-brown branches. Leaves 125mm x 60mm pubescent on veins beneath. White flowers in lateral cymes to 300mm long with bracts, bracteoles at base of calyx, 5-toothed calyx. Glabrate fruits white maturing purple to 5mm with 10 longitudinal ribs.
