Scandent shrub with 200mm with yellow-green sparsley pubescent branchlets, older branches glabrescent. Pubescent or glabrous leaves to 100mm x 60mm. Lateral cymose panicles to 200mm x 70mm. Fruit a drupe maturing purple-red to 14mm x 6mm with pubescent petiole & persistent cup-shaped disc at base.
