Climbing shrub or liane to 25m, brownish-red branches, flakey with age. Toothes leaves to 140mm x 50mm. Axillary dichomous cymes, often with bracts to 1.5mm, white flowers becoming orange finally brownish-red to 5mm diameter, sepals 1mm long, fleshy petals. Fruit to 80mm x 30mm.
Leaves have medicinal uses
