Thorny sometimes scandent glabrous shrub to 4m. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 65mm x 30mm.Terminal fascicles with bracteoles to 2mm of 1-2 fragrant white flowers, calyx to 4.5mm x 3mm, tube 22mm long, lobes 6mm long. Glabrous berry 10mm diameter.
