Hemi-epiphytic sometimes scandent herb or vine to 3.5m with glabrous stems. Glabrous to minutely puberulent mucronate leaves to 140mm x 60mm, Terminal & axillary cymes with bracts to 1mm long, white flowers.2 staminate tepals to 6mm x 8mm, 2 pistillate tepals to 8.5mm x 5.5mm. Green 3-winged capsule suffused maroon to 15mm wide, largest wing to 15mm wide.
