Large woody climber to 20m with corky branches. Glabrous or pubescent leaves to 245mm x 130mm. Inflorescence to 170mm long with 9-38 flowers, flower bracts to 9mm x 4mm, green of maroon sepals to 30mm x 10mm, white corolla with tube to 50mm long & lobes to 30mm x 30mm. Dark brown glabrous lenticellate fruit to 250mm x 70mm.
