Pods, leaves & seeds eaten raw & cooked. Roots, bark & seeds have medicinal uses. Stems used as walking sticks. Bark yields fibre for ropes etc & tannin. Leaves fodder, thatching, mats, umbrellas, food plates and containers etc.
