Herbaceous glabrous erect, prostrate or climbing annual or perennial tendril liana with tendrils to 100mm long. Usually unlobed leaves or 2-3 lobed to 120mm x 40mm, lobes with serrate dentate margins. 1-2 flowered inflorescence with bracts to 3mm, greenish-white flowers, sepals to 11mm, petals to 7mm. Fruit to 18mm long.
