Annual or perennial, glabrescent or pubescent, , weak trailing stems, erect or climbing liana to 3m. 3-5 lobed glabrous or hairy leaves to 130mm x 130mm with lobes to 85mm x 30mm. Tendrils to 150mm long.1-2 flowered axillary cymes with bracteolers to 4mm long, of greenish-white flowers flushed violet, sepals to 8mm long, petals to 6mm long. Capsule to 70mm x 7mm.
