Woody climbing perennial herb, shrub or rambler to 2m with pubesnt stems. Leaves 90mm x 40mm with villous stems & foliage. Terminal spikes of 1=3 flowers with bracts to 22mm x 9mm & bracteoels to 15mm x 2.5mm. Greeny-brown calyx with lobes to 17mm x 6mm. Blue-purple corolla to 42mm long with yellowish tube to 23mm long & lobes to 14mm x 9mm. Glabrous capsule to 12.5mm long.
