Sometimes scrambling shrub or tree to 7m, pubescent young branches. Leaves to 80mm x 45mm, glabrous above, pubescent beneath. Lax terminal panicles with bracts to 6mm long &flowers with bracteoles to 10mm x 4mm, calyx to 19mm long, slightly fragrant white flowers with yellow mark at base of standard, standard to 24mm long, wing & keel petals similar. Grey-black glabrous pods to 130mm x 15mm.
