Glabrous tree or twining liana to 7m with lenticellate branches. Glaucous leaves to 122mm x 65mm, glabrous above, glabrous or silky beneathy. Terminal & axillary 4-flowered umbels of 15mm diameter fragrant white or pink flowers aging yellow, sepals to 4mm x 3mm, 4 fimbriate petals with central red spot, petals to 8.5mm x 8mm, posterior petal to 6mm x 5mm. Greenish-red samaras, nut 8mm x 6mm, wing 21mm x 11mm.
