Liana or tree to 4m with corky bark. Leaves to 140mm x 100mm, glabrate above & silky-white beneath becominbg glabrate. Axillary 4-flowered cauliflorous or terminal umbels or panicles with bracts & bracteoles to 3mm of pink to yellow flowers to 30mm diameter,sepals to 6mm x 3.2mm, white petals to 8mm aging pale yellow, 4 petals to 11mm x 10mm, posterior petals to 6mm x 6mm. Nut 8mm x 5mm, wing to 25mm x 15mm.
