Twining liana with glabrous leaves or with scattered hairs beneath to 120mm long. Lax axillary umbels to 25mm across with crimson bracts of bright yellow flowers aging reddish, glabrous sepals to 5mm long, denticulate larger petals to 12mm long, fringed petals. Fruits reddish with pink wings on samaras.
