Twining shrub to 20m with brown-pubescent branchlets, glabrescent leaves to 98mm x 36mm. Rufo-pubescent axillary cymes of 3-25 flowers, with bracts, yellowish to orange lemon-scented flowers, pubescent calyx 2mm long, sepals to 3.8mm long, corolla 4.5mm long glabrous outside, hairy inside, tube to 4mm with lobes to 2.5mm. Pale green follicles to 530mm long.
