Prickly woody climbing shrub with glabrescent leaves 45mm x 25mm. Pubescent cymes or panicles with minute bracts, pale yellow flowers, pubescent calyx 1.5mm long, yellow corolla pubescent outside to 5mm long with shorter lobes. Brown velvety follicles 225mm long x 6mm.
