Glabrous climber with stout branches. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 165mm x 75mm. Lateral racemes or terminal cymes of 16mm long cream flowers with bracts to 1mm x 0.5mm, sepals to 1.3mm x 1.2mm, purple to red or pink corolla with tube to 17mm x 4mm, lobes to 11mm x 6mm. Glabrous follicles to 190mm x 7mm.
