Scandent subshrub with 3-winged stems. Leaves to 30mm x 18mm. Male flowerheads to 5mm long with 20 flowers 4mm x 2.4mm, corolla 3.5mm long, tube 2.5mm, lobes 1mm. Female flowerhead 6mm long with 20-25 flowers, corolla to 2.6mm x 0.2mm. Achenes to 1.8m x 0.5mm, pappus to 3.3mm long.
