Twining unarmed liana with coriaceous leaves to 110mm x 50mm. Umbels 5 to 7-flowered, 6mm long purple or pale yellow or green to purplish flowers, calyx 5mm long, petals 6mm long, tube 1mm long. Spiny fruit to 25mm x 30mm with 5 locules.
