Fruiting Times
Vining spiny shrub to 6m with mostly glabrous branches with recurved prickles to 5mm long. Coriaceous leaves to 60mm x 22mm, glabrous above & puberulent beneath. Up to 6-flowered axillary umbels of dark purple flowers, glabrous calyx 4.5mm long, petals 8mm long. Red fruit.
