Liane to 10m with glabrate stems. Leaves to 50mm x 45mm with 3-5 lobes. Creamy yellow flowers with reddish rays in many-flowered umbels in cymes of 2-5. Flowers with bracts to 5mm, 5 sepals to 3.5mm, 5 petals to 3mm, tube to 2mm. Spiny green fruit becoming brown.
