Fruiting Times
Large evergreen perennial woody liana or shrub with twining glabrescent stems. Leaves to 200mm x 140mm, pubescent beneath. Axillary pubescent umbels or corymbs of 25mm x 10mm, 2mm yellowish-white outside, glabrous purple-red petals to 2mm long, villous outside, calyx to 4.5mm x 1.75mm, tomentose sepals. Fruit a spiny tomentose capsule to 50mm diameter.
