Fruiting Times
Tall woody slender twining liana, young branches hairy. Toothed leaves to 100mm x 75mm, tomentose on both surface. Axillary cymes, corymbs or umbels of 3mm flowers with bracts, 3-lobed petals yellow outside, red within, 5 villous sepals. Fruit a spiny tomentose yellow-pink capsule to 20mm diameter maturing brown, slender spines to 12mm long.
