Scandent shrub or slender liana with glabrous stems. Coriaceous leaves to 120mm x 35mm. Axillary inflorescences , glabrous flowers with tiny bracts, sepals 5mm long, petals to 4mm long. Spiny capsule 40mm x 5mm.
