Climbing scrambler to 7m with glabrescent stems, often with purple spots. Leaves to 80mm x 60mm with dentate margins, glabrescent above, tomentose or pubescent beneath. Axillary or terminalcorymbs, flower head to 3.9mm x 1.4mm with 5 bracts to 3.2mm long, bright yellow flowers, 5 yellow ray florets to 7mm x 1.5mm, 15 yellow disc florets to 8mm x 1.5mm. Achenes to 2.3mm long with creamy-white pappus to 8mm long.
