Large woody liana with glabrescent branches. Leaves to 200mm long with 9-15 mucronate leaflets to 70mm x 20mm, glabrous above & silky beneath. Dark mauve & white corolla to 10mm long in long spikes. Pubescent pod to 70mm x 15mm.
Has been used to stabilize road batters
