Vine. Leaves to 110mm x 45mm with 7-9 leaflets, hairy beneath. Racemes of flowers to 9mm long, calyx tube 3mm long, lobes 1mm long, deep dark red corolla. standard 9mm long, wings 5mm long, keel 9mm long. Flat papery pod to 100mm x 23mm with persistent calyx.
