Vigorous perennial high-climbing shrub, glabrate stems to 350mm diameter with lenticels. Dense foliage, imparipinnate leaves, terminal leaflet to 40mm long. Panicles with bracts to 25mm long & bracteoles to 5mm long, 10mm dark red or purplish flowers, calyx to 5mm long, standard to 6mm x 2mm, wing to 4mm long. Slender pod to 120mm x 16mm.
