Evergreen vigorous woody glabrous liana. leaves to 300mm long with 7-19 leaflets, leaflets to 100mm x 35mm, mostly glabrous. Racemes to 250mm long, 20mm scented white to purple flowers, calyx 5mm long, corolla to 20mm long. Woody, longitudinally ridged, velvety fruit pods to 180mm x 50mm.
