Glabrous scandent twining shrub to 15m. Coriaceous leaves to 140mm x 80mm. Axillary solitary putrid smelling pale green flowers to 50mm diameter (pollinated by flies)with bracts 1mm long, up to 24 tepals, purple spotted stamens. Apricot to yellow fruit 70mm x 50mm.
