Shrub climbing by recurved branches, glabrescent stems. Glabrescent leaves to 100mm x 60mm. Axillary cauliflorous inflorescence with bracts to 170mm x 110mm, cymes to 15mm, , flower light green tinged pink, pubescent calyx 1mm long, corolla to 9mm x 4mm with lobes 2mm x 3mm. Glabrous berry dull red mottled with cream at maturity 70mm long, strong sweet menthol scent when cut.
